Wine is one of those things that pairs well with a lot of things, but there are some things that it pairs really well with! We are pleased to announce our collaboration with West Elm. Home, cooking, entertaining and wine … it couldn’t be more perfect. Enjoy this post by GRACE RASMUS.
While it feels like we’re heading full-speed ahead into fall, the calendar says it’s *technically* still summer. It feels like it, too: it’s nice enough to fire up the grill and eat outside, and most summer produce is at its absolute peak right now. So why not throw a party to celebrate it all?
The West Elm LA store teamed up with some local friends to host an end-of-summer dinner party to remember. Blogger Charmed by Camille co-hosted at home in Silverlake with Robyn Melrose from West Elm LA, who also handled the interior styling. Food blogger Natasha Feldman of Nosh with Tash handled the almost-entirely-grilled menu: steak with compound butter (get the recipe here), grilled bread + veggies, arugula salad with figs and goat cheese, and grilled peaches with Greek yogurt for dessert. The key to a summer get-together is to keep things loose and low-key, so they took the party outdoors to grill and drink wine, then headed inside for the formal dinner setting on the Anton Solid Wood Dining Table, and finally finished things off in the kitchen for a DIY dessert spread.
