FAQs
Where do I find the tracking link for my package? What if I click the link and there's no info available?
Upon placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email, and then once your order has shipped you will receive a second email that provides a link to your carrier's tracking information. Tracking will appear within 24 hours of shipping and will continually update throughout the delivery process.
Is there a temperature-controlled shipping option available?
We offer a weekly refrigerated service for orders shipping to the Mid-West and East Coast as well as some Southern States. A "Temp Control" option will appear in the Shipping Service menu at checkout if available in your state. If a Temp Control option does not appear and temperatures are a concern in your area, consider adding a CoolPack to your order at checkout.
Temperature-Controlled shipments depart our California facility weekly on THURSDAY NIGHTS for delivery the following week. We recommend checking HERE and selecting this option anytime the forecasted high temperatures are above 85°F or below 35°F anywhere between the shipping destination and Napa Valley. Place your order by 10:00 AM PT on Wednesdays or set a future ship date for your order to ship on a WEDNESDAY and the order will ship out the next Thursday NIGHT. Orders submitted after 10:00 AM on Thursdays or have a Friday future ship date will ship the following week on THURSDAY NIGHT. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ORDERS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO SHIP SAME DAY!
What's a "CoolPack"? Should I add this to my order?
CoolPacks are inserts designed to keep your wine chilled for up to 2 days on its journey in warm weather. CoolPacks are recommended anytime the forecasted high temperatures are above 85°F anywhere on your wine's travel route from Napa Valley to its destination, particularly in those nearby West Coast states where Temperature-Controlled shipping is not available. Adding a CoolPack option to any order is $12 per 12/pack for non-members and $10 per12/pack for Wine Society Members and JCB Collectors.
I need my wines by a specific date. What should I do?
Contact Customer Care prior to placing your order if delivery dates are a concern so we can proactively assist you with providing the best shipping option for receiving on time. In circumstances where faster shipping is essential, consider upgrading to 2-Day or Overnight shipping.
Do I need to provide my birthdate for orders containing alcohol?
Because all Boisset orders ship from a wine warehouse, a date of birth is legally required to confirm you are 21 or older regardless of whether or not the items in your order contain alcohol. Some states further require that the birth date provided by the customer match that individual's birth date in their state records. See our States of Operation page for state by state details.
Fees for Redirect to Different Address After Shipment is Initiated?

I was not available to sign for multiple delivery attempts and my order was sent back. Now what?
Adult signatures are required for all shipments containing alcohol. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the carrier will return the package to Boisset for non-delivery and you will be responsible for any resulting shipping charges.
If your order is returned to Boisset, please contact Customer Care or call 1-855-233-5155 to have your order be reshipped. Additional charges will apply to reshipments or orders cancelled after shipping.
Are there special options for orders shipping to Hawaii or Alaska?
Orders headed to destinations in either Hawaii or Alaska are not eligible for standard shipping. At checkout, the shipping options will automatically provide a $10 discount on 2-Day Shipping for these orders.
Why did I receive a different vintage or wine from the one I ordered?
Boisset reserves the right to substitute another vintage of the same wine or a wine of similar varietal, quality and value for wines that have sold out.
My order arrived and it's been damaged or broken. What should I do?
In the unfortunate event that your wine has been damaged in shipping or is otherwise not in proper condition, please contact Customer Care or call 1-855-233-5155 within 30 days of placing your order. Please note that a sediment or formation of crystals in fine wine is naturally occurring and not an indication of spoilage.
What is your return policy?
Orders can be cancelled if the order has not been processed by the fulfillment company; however, any applicable shipping cost will be deducted from your refund for any orders that have already shipped. Returns are available when requested within 30 days of shipment. Please contact Customer Care, or call us at 1-855-233-5155 to assist.
