Fixin 1er Cru “Les Hervelets” 2018

Elegant

SKU: BDPNHV1876

Fixin's vineyards lie primarily over clay-limestone based soils and enjoy eastern exposure, which is important for producing the high-quality great wines of Burgundy, as is the case of Fixin's illustrious neighbor, Gevrey-Chambertin. Its vineyards are located on gentle slopes that enjoy full eastern exposure and are located at an altitude of between 270 and 360 meters, adjacent to those of Gevrey-Chambertin. They are clustered around the village of Fixin and the hamlet of Fixey.
Bright, dark ruby red. The aromas are powerful, mixing small red and black fruits, wood and pepper; the attack is frank, with a nice liveliness. The tannins are still present but very racy. A very nice holding in the final.
