The fruit for our Vieilles Vignes Blanc is harvested from the heart of the cool Russian River Valley appellation from three distinctive vineyards: Ritchie, Ricioli and Fanucchi-Wood Road. The Ritchie Vineyard vines are over 40 years old and yield small clusters with ripe skins and concentrated flavors. The Ricioli Vineyard has an alluvial clay-loam soil composition and is planted to the Musque clone of Sauvignon Blanc lending floral aromas to the wine. Fanucchi-Wood Road is an organically grown and dry-farmed vineyard with the vines receiving great sun exposure resulting in bright fruit flavors.
Aroma: Vibrant floral scents of lemon blossom and zesty orange marmalade burst forth from the glass.
Palate: Opulent and revitalizing flavors enchant the palate, teasing with delicate notes of white peach, succulent pear, and crisp lime zest.
